"-tions with the Andorians are..." Isaac's speech slowed. "... going well." The very sudden change in scenery was slow to absorb into the man's mind. He turned around to find that Envoy Jiang was no longer with him, though in his place was something far more perplexing. A spanning vista of wild, green grass and shimmering, pink-petalled trees lay before him over a massive cliff. The large conference room he was previously standing in was gone; instead there was a pool of crystal-clear water into which a waterfall fell, no drop landing where it shouldn't.
Isaac's mouth opened and closed frantically as he looked towards the the sky. "Whoever or... whatever has put me here, take me back to the conference, NOW!" No-one and nothing responded, and Isaac remained, his head pointed to the heavens. His head dropped down and he undid his ambassador uniform's jacket. "I swear, if this is a Tholian trick..." Hargreaves grumbled to himself. The Assembly's government would have a lot to answer for if they were behind this. He'd even put money on it given their penchant for meddling in the affairs of the Federation since the Andorians and Rigelians had submitted requests to secede.
Isaac walked carefully around the whole pool, but stopped when he heard the jarring sound of metal creaking. He looked underneath his foot and saw the dull silver colour of a hull fragment. Kneeling down, Isaac attempted to clear some of the dirt and plant matter away from the metal, and the distinctive Starfleet logo began to appear on the large panel. He looked at it, confused and wary. He stood up carefully, backing towards where he could see most of the clearing.
"If anyone is hiding out there, I'm not going to hurt you, but I need answers," he reassured, though he was still didn't know if he was talking to anyone. "I need to get back to the USS Talon, it's very important." He picked up a pointy rock and held it tight; this was turning out to be a very worrying day.
