Posting for the response of Dkaran vessels
True enough to what Kunama had been saying in the cargo bay, though this was of yet unknown to the Bridge crew of the Talon, a sharp and vicious looking vessel clad ominous green lines set to a black background lunged beneath the Talon as the rest moved in to rid themselves of the pest that Talon was proving to be to them.
The transport had made them turn to desperate outrage, though it was yet unclear and probably remain that way if their anger was more directed at the Nolfian contingent for bringing this help or at Talon herself. The undercutter fired at the Talon's belly and aft, aiming to render the shields weakened or altogether lost. The main fleet sought to distract Talon's fire from the undercutter to them and proceeded to flank.
True again, they seemed wary of getting to close to the floating Ra'Tek but at the same time... the information stored in the Nolfian data banks would be incredibly useful to them. Kunama had managed to set a sequence code for such an eventuality before she was first beamed out with her sick brethren as was the duty of any officer in the Nolfian ranks.
This indecision between knowing the Ra'Tek was a trap and wanting the information stored cause a ripple down the lines and more ships came under Talon's aggressive fire. This too bore a ripple effect and the enemy lines seemed to fragment ever so slightly.
Eventually the decision was made and two vessels swooped in for the prize waiting to be taken. The opportune moment had arrived for the Talon.
The Dkaran vessels continued to fire on the Talon's shields. They weren't entirely strong enough to render immediate damage but as the firing of torpedo's and phaser fire continued, it would continue to mount. Like a sting that would bleed and fester.
