Despite the activity being defensive, Robin was able spot her offensive reactions that seemed to get more aggressive and for a moment he wondered if she was actually trying to hit him. Well you couldn't expect to hit a stick if you didn't have a target. Their sticks danced and clashed against one another in an almost hypnotic way though their shadows reflected the speed as their weapons were all but a shadowy blur.
At times Robin honestly felt that he was going to get hit, another reason to pick up his speed and force the girl to slow down. Reesa was certainly defiant, it was obvious that she was trying to hold her ground with as much as she could give. Robin was impressed, whether it was logic or instincts that controlled most of her actions, they lead her well. The increasing flurry of his movements were starting to carry their own weight for him as well, rows of sweat snaked down the side of his neck, agitating further the spots where little grains of sand had snubbed into his skin.
The pilot moved to finish the exercise instead of simply telling her to stop, he swung his stick high and swiftly, the blow missed thankfully and to follow it up he brought his stick towards her knees only to see her evade the attack, but not the wall. Once she was against the wall, Robin stepped forward, and released one of his hands from weapon to grab her stick though he had overestimated his step, bringing not only himself up close to her again but his grip to find Reesa's wrist.
"That was great," Robin complimented with a grin though only just came aware of the fact that he had spoke those words pretty much into her ridged nose. His wide grin fell though his face soon lit up with scarlet. "We have to stop meeting like this." He joked awkwardly before taking a step back, freeing her wrist. Clearing his throat, Robin relaxed and brought his hand to his hair and ran it through.
"You're picking it up fast... what do you think so far?" Robin asked curious as to what she thought of her lesson so far, it wasn't everyday you tried to teach someone swordplay, this was a new experience for him just as it was for Reesa. Rolling one of his shoulders Robin scratched his neck, flinching as the irritation in his skin flamed. It was really starting to get on his nerves, maybe he shouldn't have done this in a cave.
Making his way to one of the walls, Robin propped his stick up against the rock and the floor and unzipped the rest of the his top part red jumpsuit and peeled it off, placing it on the rock. His torso now clad in only the white standard starfleet wife-beater and then picked up the stick and turned to Reesa to listen to her answer. His tongue behind his close mouth licked the roof of his mouth, the activities and environment had certainly zapped him off any internal liquids, he could probably go another round without water or something.
