We've also had an incident with non-corporeal, invisible, memory-stealing aliens. That was....interesting. To say the least."
“Memory stealing aliens?” She’d heard tale of such things when she was a young girl, but she’d always assumed that people were just blowing the legends out of proportion. “I hope that everyone has recovered from that experience well?” She queried, concern tinging her expression. The more she heard about Starfleet, the more dangerous it sounded, and the less she wanted the Etimonian youth participating in it.
"My father bought it for me. He's all the way back on Earth,"
“Your father is obviously a man of good taste. How does he feel having his little girl so far from home?” Zakhara had heard that Earth was a good three month journey away from Etimon, and she couldn’t imagine not being able to just go home whenever the urge struck her.
Zakhara was momentarily distracted by Etheron and Ahska’s entrances, and she was glad to see that Ahska had chosen the dress that she had recommended. “Oh, she certainly looks lovely today, doesn’t she?” She asked, more rhetorically than to those around her.
“Yes, yes she does,” Kavrahn responded, his face lit up with pride.
Zakhara craned her neck as the fanfare started, inspecting Admiral Rell with a critical eye. She still couldn’t get over the human insistence of keeping with such boring hair colors, but she had to admit the woman carried herself well.
“Come on! It's a party, let's party!”
“What is that fool doing?!” Zakhara exclaimed, outraged that someone would make an obvious misstep mere moments after Etheron’s arrival. “Is he trying to draw attention away from the Vildan and Qysan?!” Her nostril’s flared, and she didn’t even notice Robin’s attempt to draw attention away from the foolish man, as she was too focused on how Etheron was going to respond to the inappropriate behavior.
