He was aware, quite acutely aware that is, that he was not the only one to feel the voids left by the strange disappearance of several and important people on board. The only one he had any real contact with was Tiria. He knew he would never forget her advice, nor that of her partner's. She had told him what had happened before in Sig's life as far as women went, it made even his heart a bit heavy. He had sent a message to Sig that if he ever needed someone to talk to, he would be there anytime for him. After all, without Sig and Tiria he would not have been able to get his head straight and not lose the one lady in his life that mattered before all else.
As for right now, he was sat opposite a table without emitted holo-games of numerous possibilities. He had spent quite a while trying to decide what he wanted to amuse himself with. There was literally quite a lot to choose from. Some games were standard, others more obscure and quite clearly from exotic places and there were even more obscure and weirder games. He had even recognised more than a few that were right out of fantasy and science fiction novels or from tabletop games that had once used models in their history.
Cliff checked his padd just to make sure that everything was as it should be. He had decided to postpone the celebration parties for a little while, it hadn't seemed that much of a good idea what with more than one with attentions elsewhere to more important matters. So, he had put it on the back burner least for a while whilst considering other events to keep the ship's morale going. Movie nights, quiz nights and all that jazz. It was quite tiring to maintain a morale boosting attitude but he knew it was important all the same.
He glanced back to the game choices still at a loss as to what was worth playing. Though something called Wizard's Chess seemed rather intriguing.
