Robin had barely noticed the change in his surroundings, no longer standing in the middle of the bridge alongside Alyssa and instead, stood weakly within the Eagle's Nest, unaware of Mandy's presence. For he had already been stunned by reality's punch in the gut with the news of Kinin's transfer just moments before. Just like the last time, on the bridge, being told she was gone and not knowing when she'll be back, if at all.
"Kinin's not going to be so lucky."
Haywood's warning rang through his mind.
Landeck! Robin yelled internally.
That bastard, he did this! He-.
But then a different voice invaded his mind, twisting and warping his senses into what could only be described as a nightmare, fueled by the ever growing experiences of having his mind violated and toyed with.
"You have all been found guilty and have been placed in your final locations for your pathetic existence,"
Guilty? Pathetic? Robin's breath turned ragged as the sinister voice continued, what was she on about? What was going on?!
"Out of respect for my Father, I will allow you to choose the manner of your death, which will be carried out by those sharing your location.
Father? Execution?
"Who are you?!" Robin shouted at the air with an aggressive swing of his arm, as if trying to trap the voice and squash it out of existence despite the crystal clarity of it being inside his own head.
"Failure to comply will result in all those whom you love to perish. You have twenty-four hours."
"Show yourself!" Robin demanded of the voice as his heavy steps brought him to the front of the bar which he found himself tightly holding onto.
Wake up, Star! Robin pleaded to himself, to him this was just a benign weird crazy and evil nightmare, how else would he get here, all alone and...
Robin heard a noise, he frowned. Breathing? He turned, expecting the worse, a mangled corpse of a dear friend, or Kinin but to his surprise, he saw...
"Mandy?"
