"Rrrobin!"
It was more the forceful shaking that stirred Robin awake but the odd pronounciation gave him an instant recognition of who and where. Blinking Robin heard Hudd say Kinin's name and confusion swept through him but then so did pain as the large man shook him more forcefully.
"I'm awake!" Robin grunted out, but then his eyes moved to where Kinin had been, his eyes adjusting and then widening when he realized that she wasn't there. He looked around, she wasn't here. Then light exploded from Hudd's hands and Robin saw that he was holding a torch. A warmth blazed over him but only briefly as Hudd looked down at him once more before moving off into the tunnel. He must be going after Kinin, had he seen what happened? He cursed himself mentally for being asleep and stood up from the ground.
Robin calmed himself as ideas flooded his brain, had the Salorri attempted to kidnap Kinin because of her carrying a male child? As Hudd moved, so did the light and his focus shifted to what he might need. Pickaxe... he looked to Adam, wondering if he should wake him or not but it was only half a second later before he had made his way over to Adam, shaking his shoulder harshly.
"Adam, wake up! Kinin's in trouble." With that, Robin picked the axe from the ground and stumbled through the tunnel to catch up with Hudd and the path of light. He hoped Adam would do the same, if something had happened... he pushed those thoughts aside, quickening his pace, almost stumbling a few times, his injury and the weight of the pick slowing unbalancing his movements.
A scream shot through the darkness, Robin hesitated for a second before his legs sped up to enter the alcove just behind Hudd where he saw the scene.
"Kinin!" Robin shouted out, he launched into action, dashing towards the two men who were forcing her to the ground whilst Hudd moved against another, throwing the man into a nearby tube.
Running into range, Robin swung his barefoot into the side of the attacker's face that were holding Kinin's legs, following with a swift jab from the blunt side of the pickaxe, forcing the man to let go and roll over and away and cradle the large gash in his head. Knowing Kinin could deal with the man behind her, Robin moved to tackle the man he had hit who had now stood up in an animalistic and ridgid pose to defend himself.
Robin leaped into the air but his face ended up meeting the attacker's fist, sending the pilot sprawling into the ground as the man sidestepped. The pickaxe left Robin's grip, sending it flying into the rock and the attacker seized his oppurtunity to stomp his feet into Robin's back, and noticing the officer's bandaged hand, smashed his feet against Robin's broken hand. The pilot's yell of pain pierced the tunnel.
Robin heard the man's laugh over his own cry, biting harshly into his own lips, drawing blood, the pilot pushed his uninjured hand into the ground with such force that he could have easily broken that hand as well as he lifted his back up, smashing right up in between the attacker's legs, a horrible bone crunching sound silenced the man before he himself screamed in pain and Robin took the oppurtunity to lift the rest of the way. The man lost his balance, toppling over and onto the ground, his hands cupping broken anatomy that had threatened Kinin.
Robin rolled over onto his back, his face red and intense from the fiery pain in his arm, ignoring the blood that trickled from both his lip and chin where it had scraped against the rocky ground.
