"It is unnecessary to restate what Doctor Ericson has already suggested. A suggestion that was dismissed."
Yolanda's eyes met the cyborgs. Her eyes narrowed slightly at the gaze. Was this cyborg giving her attitude? You sassy sack of flesh and bolts. Taking a deep breath she tempered her reaction to the response. It was reasons like this she'd never be caught in a red uniform. Besides, Kealan made it look to easy. Of course, he had his advantages. He could make most men squirm under his gaze and most women faint with that so-called inadvertent flex of his. As if he didn't do it on purpose.
As the cyborg seemed intent on renewing its quest to leave the area, Lieutenant Star stepped in front of it, blocking its path. It wasn't exactly something that she cared to encourage, especially since they had no idea of how hostile this cyborg could become if agitated. "Mr. Star...?" she began, but her warnings came a bit late. Even as Star tried to reason with it, Yolanda wasn't of the mind to take any chances. Her eyes found Ensign Diran's as she gave a slight nod, to make sure that he was ready for action at the slightest movement of aggression.
"Your power regulation isn't quite stable yet. But I can fix it, if you'll give me a couple of minutes?"
To this, the cyborg seemed to halt. Yolanda was even more pleased now that Lt. Commander Rok had tagged Lt. (j.g.) Button for this mission. The young woman was quickly growing on her. The cyborg allowed Ziana to proceed with her scans which was a bit of a relief. She turned her eyes to Robin. "Mr. Star... I think it'll be okay for you and Mr. Diran to retrieve another one of...." her voice trailed off. She had no idea how to address the cyborg. "... his colleagues." His... so she was assigning gender now.
She could feel Diran's urge to protest. It was probably second nature to any security officer, but this was their opportunity to make a gesture of good faith... of trust. She only hoped they wouldn't regret it. As she watched Ziana work, she drifted a bit closer to Sig momentarily as he warmed his hands. Her eyes, however, never left Ziana and the cyborg. "No recollection of where he is or how he got here? Starting to look more and more like they were brought here," Yolanda suggested. It had already been a working theory, but now the scientist wanted to know why? Why had the cyborg and the rest of his colleagues been discarded here? Thus far, he hadn't displayed any form of hostility. Of course, maybe the hornet's nest hadn't been properly roused yet.
Yolanda proceeded back towards Ziana. "How's it coming, Lieutenant?" she asked hoping for good news. As she waited to hear what the engineer had to report, her she moved back into the cyborg's line of sight. "How would you like us to address you? For it's customary to have some designation to identify by. And if you don't mind me asking, since you don't know your location, can you tell me the last thing you can recall?"
