By the end of round two, Diran had no doubt that Adrian would be able to handle himself in a firefight, although he hoped the counselors enthusiasm wasn't simply based on the cartoonish deaths of their targets.
He could here the cheering of the crowd, but he was too caught up in his 'training excercise' to pay much attention. As round three ended, it seemed that was as far as the game went as the targets fell back into place and the previous illuminations representing a game in progress died down. Judging from the enthusiasm of the crowd, and lack thereof from the vendor, they had done rather well as they were each handed a token of some sort. He looked rather perplexed, and then mildly annoyed as Adrians question was brushed of with a giggle. This was also somewhat worrying as it seemed like a bad indication as to what they could have possibly won now. Probably something really embarrassing like a romantic dinner for two. That would be just his luck. Speaking of dinner, his stomach growled a little and he was reminded of his aching joints. Forty-odd minutes wasn't really enough time to recover from his short but gruelling away mission back on Salor. Perhaps he should have had more sleep before wandering off exploring.
"Any ideas?"
"No idea, probably don't want to know either. But if we're feeling a little braver later on then perhaps we could do worse than ask someone a little more helpful." At this, his stomach once again gave a little but loud growl and he grimaced. It was going to start getting a little humiliating if he didn't stop for a bite to eat soon.
"Well, it seems that the inner parts of my anatomy have spoken. Would you care to join me for a snack?"
