The navigational deflector and communications arrays look to be severely damaged, and the solitary impulse drive seems to be failing.
Reesa considered the scope of their damage. Without Impulse engines, they weren't getting off the planet, and even if they could, Warp speeds were suicide with no Navigational deflector. That certainly explained why they had chose to land, rather than try to handle repairs in space.
"Nice work ensign, you keep dodging just like that,"
"Thank you, sir," she said quickly. It was certainly good to hear that her efforts were appreciated, and that would certainly be good for building the crew's trust in her. New pilots sometimes had a hard time getting the members of the bridge staff to relax at first. It was almost like they didn't trust Starfleet Academy to teach anything. Still, every once in a while a bad Ensign got through the system somehow, and one bad Ensign tended to leave a bad taste with everyone for years.
"Let's have the other Danube prepped as a sickbay,"
She addended her message to the shuttle bay, requesting that the remaining Danube-class shuttle be fit with the Medevac module, and prepared for immediate departure. She suspected that now that they had coordinates on the Copernicus, they would try to deploy the Away Team as quickly as they possibly could. A few minutes later, she received confirmation from the shuttlebay. "The runabout is ready, with the Medevac module installed, sir," she said to Commander Tyne.
With no other immediate concerns to worry about, she focused on the neutrino emissions, just in case the energy wave came back anytime soon. It was a bit odd for her to adapt to a situation of sitting around waiting for things to happen, but patience was a virtue that the half-Cardassian possessed in abundance, and she was more than happy to wait it out.
