Grace's eyes shifted around the room as Dr. Diego asked them to search for some crates so that they could create a makeshift cradle for Sean. He had also asked them to look for sheets to help secure the child, as well as create privacy for Kinin. Grace watched as some of the medics began to set out in search of those items. The sheets wouldn't be hard to find, but they would have to find a way to secure the sheets if they were going to jury-rig some strings. Yet, as his next words were directed soley at her, Grace gave Luis her full attention.
"We're going to have to go back to basic medical procedures. I want Kinin's vitals taken every four hours and the baby's vitals taken every thirty minutes for three hours. If either of them have an elevated temperature I want to know immediately. Same with Oliver, vitals every fours hours. I'll be happy to help if you need me to. Do we have any lab capabilities at all?"
Grace's mind searched for the answer, and she chose to address the second issue prior to the first. As she did so, her eyes skimmed the PADD of the current inventory that they had. "We can set up a very rudimentary lab," she said. "Though, anything complex beyond microscopes... will sadly have to wait until the quarantine is lifted." Grace was sure that Luis understood that. It meant that things would have to take a more trial and error sort of approach if it came down to making diagnoses of any sort of infections.
As to his other orders, her question tended to address them. "Not a problem, Doctor," she replied in regards to taking the vitals. "Does that mean that you're going to personally contribute to the Captain's orders?" She had made the assumption that the medical team would venture throughout the settlement to take the readings of the crewmen. Only because having each department report to the infirmary rised spreading any sort of infection. At least this way they could attempt to isolate things.
