"Are you insane,"
Not yet, Jon thought to himself as he ignored the Klingon’s fury, and whilst it was frustrating to lose a certain edge in Kinin’s plan to act unconscious, Alyssa’s words rang well in Jon’s head. They would find another advantage.
Trying to ignore the throbbing pain in his head Jon attempted to listen or remind himself of the previous discussions that had been going around him, including Victor’s reveal of a ‘door’ for each of the cells. That was good, any knowledge was good at this point but how did they use it?
He glanced at Henrietta and winced slightly when he spotted the slight dab of blood that he had been responsible for, he was guilty but it passed quickly. He was not one to dwell on such an action outside of his control, he looked down at his hand and shook the memory aside to concentrate on the now which meant listening to Henri’s new suggestion.
"If he can reach the ceiling... magnetize it the next time they...."
There was potential in Henri’s plan, potential for failing but also succeeding. The trouble was what would they do if it worked? Would the aliens storm in with those weapons they had shot Kinin with and drop them all where they stood? And it soon became clear after Henri’s questioning of what was going on with Tahp and Tekinson that that they weren’t all on the same page of escaping right now…
Whilst Jonathan liked to think he could control himself, he had to wonder if that would be what happened if they tried another escape attempt because whatever was going on in that cell, it was obvious their bodies had been manipulated into doing so.
Jon stood to his feet and placed his artificial hand into his pocket, it wasn’t much but it would at least give a microsecond of resistance that might mean the difference of hitting another fellow officer or not. “Your plan might prove more effective if they opened it up,” He gestured to the ceiling “With the magnet activated,” He said, thinking aloud as it was unlikely but certainly food for thought.
“I may need a leg up,” He mentioned towards Kinin and Alyssa, but then even with their combined effort and the magnet, would he be too heavy to remain attached? He looked to Henrietta, “Do you think you could remove my arm without tools?” He asked simply, probably not, not without excessive force… which despite being an artificial arm, would still hurt a lot.
“If the ceiling opens up again and if the magnet is activated, my arm could be thrown in such a way to be pulled right into the gears and jam them.”
“At the very least it could be thrown it at the guard with the weapon…” Jon added optimistically, that last part was even more unlikely but if the pink guard was hit well enough he may just lose his grip on the weapon so it would tumble right into their lap.
